STANDARD CROSSED ROLLER LINEAR BEARINGS AND RAIL SETS

 

*      Crossed roller components offer exceptional load carrying capabilities – approximately 2 – 2½ times that of comparably sized ball bearings.

*      Crossed roller bearings are rated for over 10 million inches of travel at a specified load and 900 million inches at quarter load.

*      They can withstand loads from any direction and guide linear motion with precision accuracy.

*      They can be used in linear motion applications where high precision, repeatability, low friction and starting force are essential.

*      Rails and rollers are made of high quality tool steel ground and hardened (Rc 59 – 61).

*      Mounting and bearing surfaces are precision ground flat, square and parallel.

*      High rigidity and precision finish of rails and rollers ensure low frictional resistance, stable high rolling accuracy and long life.
 

 

STANDARD CROSSED ROLLER LINEAR SLIDE ASSEMBLIES

 

*      Crossed roller bearing slide assemblies are designed for precise, low friction, highly accurate linear movement under heavy loads.

*      They are characterized by smooth, noiseless motion, the absence of "slip-stick" and long operational life.

*      Their preloaded anti-friction rail sets make them absolutely playfree.

*      All slide assemblies consist of, at a minimum, (1) precision crossed roller rail set, (1) adjustable rail mounting plate and (1) fixed rail mounting plate.

*      Assemblies are made of stressed-relieved and precision milled 6061 T6 aluminum alloy with clear anodize finish or heat treated and precision ground G2 cast iron.

*      End plates are made from aluminum or steel and finished in black anodize or black oxide.

*      Standard drive screws are made from heat treated, precision ground 416 stainless steel.

*      Slide assemblies can attain speeds of up to 30" per second.

*      No lubrication is required on speeds up to 50" per minute.

*      Slide assemblies are available in five models: P = Plain; L = Lead-screw; F = Flanged; X = Extended travel and RM = with recirculating bearing travels.

*      All crossed roller slide assemblies are designed to provide long, trouble free working life and require minimal maintenance.
